Denver nightlife doesn’t get the attention it deserves. Why is that? There is so much to do in the Mile High City. And a lot of the fun begins at night. Yes, Jay Cutler has moved to Chicago. But don’t let that stop you from visiting Denver nightclubs, bars, lounges, and nightlife …! Go ahead – enjoy it.

And while I’m on the subject of nightlife. why doesn’t Orlando get more attention for its nightlife? Orlando is no Miami, to be sure. But Orlando is chockful of great fun. Orlando nightclubs, bars, lounges, and nightlife - all make for great fun in this sunny Florida city.

Best nightlife cities in the US

“Best Lists” seem to pop up every year around this time. There are best cities to live in, best cities to do business in, best cities for singles, and the list goes on. And naturally, there is a list of cities with best nightlife. In my own small way, I’d like to contribute to that discussion. Because no matter how bad the economy gets, people like to have good times at night. So, here we go – some of the best cities that know how to party:

Miami nightclubs, bars, lounges, and nightlife - It’s South Beach, it’s the Miami Sound Machine, it’s Miami Vice – need I say more?

Las Vegas nightlife - the Strip, Ghost Bar, Tao, slot machines, nightclubs – it all happens in Las Vegas and stays there.

New York nightclubs, neighborhood bars, cocktail lounges, and nightlife – the city that never sleeps, never stops partying.

Los Angeles nightclubs, bars, lounges, and nightlife - where the beautiful people love to have a good time. LA party scene is legendary and continues.

Denver nightlife – the Mile High City enjoys its nightclubs, bars, lounges, and nightlife. Jay Cutler has moved on to Chicago but the party spirit of this great city lives on.

My Favorite Cocktails in Miami

Choosing a favorite cocktail is kind of like choosing a favorite child – nearly impossible. But I do have a few I enjoy.
The old standbys – bourbon and ginger-ale (fall), vodka tonic (summer). Maybe a Long Island Iced Tea or another favorite – Sex on the Beach. In a party town like South Beach, Miami, I like a good cocktail. So when I look for Miami nightclubs, I look for ones who have professional bartenders. That makes all the difference in the world. Miami nightclubs, bars, lounges, and nightlife – finding the right bartender is key. So, treat yourself – straight up, with olives.

Tell me, what cocktails have you enjoyed in Miami recently? Have you tried the Miami Spitball? What about the South Beach Honey-Doo? This is making me very thirsty for nightlife in Miami.

Los Angeles – City of Angels

Los Angeles is known as the City of Angels. And if you’ve ever seen the lights at night, you realize that each and every light could represent an angel. Think of it as a thousand points of light. Los Angeles, also known as LA, is located in California.

Home to movie stars, athletes, and moguls, everyone wants to visit Los Angeles. Everyone goes to Los Angeles nightclubs hoping to get a glimpse of their favorite movie star. Well, it can happen. There has been much speculation on why LA is called the City of Angels. Perhaps there are many true-life angels there. Who knows.

Nightclubs, bars, lounges, and nightlife – all found in the City of Angels.

Although LA may be the city of anges, it is also the city of earthquakes. Earthquakes can happen at any time and they can be quite deadly. Personally, I wouldn’t want to be found dead in an earthquake.

Los Angeles, in spite of earthquakes, continues to thrive. Los Angeles – the City of Angels.

Miami Dolphins – Remembering 1972

The 1972 Miami Dolphins shall never be forgotten. There was a team, coached by the great Don Shula, that brought glory to Miami and Florida. They brought happiness to Miami and they gave the city a reason to celebrate. Up until that time, everyone knew about Miami nightclubs and the happening nightlife of the city, but in 1973, when the Dolphins won the Super Bowl by beating the favored Washington Redskins, it was a whole new ball game. No longer was Miami just about nightclubs, bars, lounges, and nightlife. Now, Miami was known as a football town. And rightly so.

Who can forget some of the great players that played for that Miami team. Names like Bob Griese, Marlin Briscoe, Dick Anderson (MVP), Larry Little, and even Garo Yepremian. I lived for the Miami Dolphins and they did not disappoint.

It has been many years since the Miami Dolphins won a Super Bowl. Perhaps this could be their year. But even if they don’t, I’ll always remember the great season that the Miami Dolphins had in 1972. A team living their destiny.

We continue to hold out for a winning team in Miami. It seems that ever since the Dolphins left the Orange Bowl, the team just isn’t the same. But don’t give up hope. And remember the 1972 Dolphins.

Chicago Nightclubs where the Cubs party

Ahhh Chicago. Aka – The Windy City. When I think of Chicago, I think of Second City. I think of the Cubs. I think of “da Bears.” And I also think of great nightlife. Have you ever been to a Chicago nightclub, loaded with “The Beautiful People.” Ever read the Chicago Tribune hoping to find articles on nightclubs in Chicago?

Chicago is in the running to host the 2016 Summer Olympics. Now wouldn’t THAT be cool. The Cubs, the Bears, the OLYMPIANS!

Have you ever wondered where baseball players from the Chicago Cubs go to party in Chicago? Of course, they go to Chicago Nightclubs! Wouldn’t you? Where would the Olympians go if they wanted to find a bar or nightclub in Chicago? I know where I’D go.

Chicago didn’t get the Olympics this time – but this is still a victory for the great city of Chicago. Thank you Mr. President for your leadership on this issue. We’ll get them next time!

Scottsdale Nightclubs are Rocking!

I can describe Scottsdale nightclubs with one word: ROCKING! Yes, the exclamation point can be overused but in this case, it is well deserved. It would be impossible for me to profile every single rocking nightclub in Scottsdale, but let me give you a few establishments that I think really exemplify the nightlife community of Scottsdale. Eddie’s House. Eddie’s House is run by “one of the biggest personalities in town” and known as “the most colorful chef” in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. The man I speak of – Eddie Matney, proprieter of Eddie’s House. And believe me – it is EDDIE’S HOUSE!

Let’s start with a club on East Indian School Road in Scottsdale. You have to love this name -

Let’s not forget a great sports bar – Famous Sam’s Restaurant and Sports Bar. Sam could be the man behind Sam’s and at this point, we can only guess. But for anyone who love’s sports bars – check out Famous Sam’s.

Another place that has gotten some nice reviews – Cream Stereo Lounge. Just take a look at their website and you’ll see why this is a hot nightclub in Scottsdale.

Nightlife, in whatever form it takes, including bars, restaurants, nightclubs, lounges, pubs, piano bars, cabaret, or karaoke bars, are vital to the economy of any city. Not only do locals spend their entertainment dollars at bars and nightclubs, but visitors also add much needed revenue to a city’s coffers. In addition to the money spent at such establishments, there is the added revenue of taxes generated by tourists.

City governments must do all they can to encourage the development and growth of nighttime establishments. This policy is not only good for the city but is also an important way of increasing the tax base. Increasing the tax base means more money for schools, police, firemen, and other city services.

Knoxville, Tennessee – a nightlife mecca?

Knoxville, Tennessee – home of the University of Tennessee Volunteers. If there’s one thing a college town knows how to do – is party. And Knoxville is a party town. Yes, there is plenty of football in Knoxville but it’s also a place to enjoy the nightlife as the nightlife should be enjoyed. I’ve always wanted to visit Cotton Eyed Joe because I always drive by it when I’m traveling through Knoxville. Another place that I’ve heard can be fun is Club XYZ. If I’m having trouble finding a nightclub or bar in Knoxville, I usually go to http://www.nightclubs.com/USA/Tennessee/Knoxville.html which is chockfull of information on bars and nightlife in Knoxville. Another place I’d like to visit is Sassy Ann’s. I hear they have great drink specials. Football season is almost here and I can’t wait. Hartford, Connecticut – nightclub scene

Nightclubs in Hartford, Connecticut is the topic of my post today. Hartford actually has some pretty happening nightclubs and bars. There’s The Patio and Lounge Bar and there’s also a place I’d like to visit called Arch Street Tavern. I understand this place was named best happy hour in Connecticut by Connecticut magazine. I’ve not been to Arch Street Tavern but it sounds like fun. Sometimes, finding a good bar in a place like Hartford can be a challenge. If I’m looking for a nightclub, bar, lounge or some kind of fun nightlife, I visit that site and I’m never disappointed in the information I’ve found.
